Dallas Reese is a versatile musician, broadcaster, writer, and historian whose multifaceted career spans decades in the Southeast's music, media, and cultural scenes.

A native of Concord, North Carolina (just outside Charlotte), Dallas discovered his natural talent for guitar and piano at a young age. He went on to earn a B.A. in Broadcast Communications & Marketing from Appalachian State University, launching a dynamic career behind the microphone. As a radio personality and DJ, he has worked with top stations including WRFX in Charlotte, WGFX in Nashville, WTQR in Greensboro, WCMC-FM in Raleigh, WESC-FM in Greenville, WWNQ in Columbia, and stations in the Daytona Beach area like WKRO 93.1 Coast Country and 95.7 the HOG. His on-air work and event hosting have included high-profile gigs for the Atlantic Coast Conference Basketball Tournaments, the Shriners National Convention, Lowe's Home Improvement, and countless corporate, wedding, and private events.

As a musician and entertainer, Dallas has been a fixture in live music since the 1990s. He has performed as house band for the Carolina Panthers at Southend Brewery in Charlotte, shared stages with artists like Phil Vassar and Brooks & Dunn, and opened for legends including Hootie & The Blowfish, Edwin McCain, and The Allman Brothers.

Since 2007, he has been a sought-after dueling pianos performer, entertaining crowds at events ranging from NHL All-Star games to corporate functions for Duke University, NASCAR, Lowe's Motor Speedway, and more. Today, he continues to deliver live acoustic sets, rock 'n' roll sing-alongs, and full-band shows at venues across Hilton Head Island, SC; Charleston SC ,in the summer, all across the Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia and Florida in the fall and winter while blending Americana, country, folk, pop, and rock as well as his own tunes crafted as a singer-songwriter.

Dallas is also an accomplished writer and historian, with a deep passion for American history—particularly the Revolutionary War era in the Carolinas. He is the author of an upcoming book exploring South Carolina's pivotal campaigns (1775–1783) and frequently delivers engaging lectures and talks on the region's role in the fight for independence.

His writing often weaves historical research with reflections on theology, Christian worldview, and the moral foundations of the American experiment.  In 2025 he completed the Colson Fellows Christian apologetics program and continues to write on theology and Christian ethics.
